RWHS teacher, students to discuss climate change

Youth Convening Minnesota will hold a discussion on climate change at the Red Wing Ignite building on April 24.

Jim Leise, a science teacher at Red Wing High School, and Mallary Bade and Danielle Thuerauf, students at Red Wing High School, will talk about how climate change is impacting the world.

Youth Convening Minnesota offers a seven-month leadership opportunity with Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy, which works with educators, youth and communities to inform them on the impending impacts of climate change.

The event is from 6-8 p.m. and is free to the public to attend.
